A variety of different activities and tasks provides learners with additional opportunities for extended practice and reinforcement of the language skills they have learned in the lesson. The workbook can be used in class or for self-study at home. As it is well known that most teachers face very heterogeneous learning groups, the tasks in the workbook are designed to provide learners at very different competency levels with successful learning experiences. The workbook includes an audio CD with the listening texts. As an extension to the course and workbook, the CD-ROM offers numerous additional exercises related to the content of each lesson. The CD-ROM is particularly suitable for independent reinforcement of the learning material at home and offers many opportunities for interactive learning.
