Jandy Nelson grew up like Noah and Jude in a superstitious household. From a young age, she was taught how to find four-leaf clovers; she knocks on wood, throws salt over her shoulder, and carries lucky charms with her. Her debut novel "The Sky is Everywhere" appeared on several bestseller lists and became a major international success. Her second novel "I'll Give You the Sun" is a New York Times bestseller, the film rights have been sold to Warner Brothers, it also appeared on multiple bestseller lists, and has won numerous awards, including the Printz Award. Jandy Nelson currently lives in California, not far from the settings of "The Sky is Everywhere" and "I'll Give You the Sun," where she dedicates herself entirely to writing.
