The "occasional poems" owe many evergreens to lyric poetry. In the works of Friedrich Ani, such poems consciously take on musically valuable compositions when one understands the occasion as a current political-individual situation that requires immediate response, revealing oneself and the other in their full vulnerability. These realistic-spontaneous sounds take on various forms: from rhymed short poems to prose poems and extensive cycles. Melancholy underpins such poems ("And we, who have never been, will never be. In the memories of others, no shadows adorn the asphalt"), yet they undermine resignation through their ironic rhythm ("Do not cry, little wind, the rain has no other eyes.").
