Kerstin and Andrea seem to be a happy couple, but their relationship is in trouble: Andrea lives only for her work, and Kerstin misses their togetherness. Then the sun-kissed adventurer Pat enters Kerstin's life and gives her the attention she lacks from Andrea. After a terrible argument that leaves Andrea deeply hurt, Kerstin follows Pat to South Africa, where she starts a new life; Andrea remains unaware back home. However, under the hot African sun, Kerstin's longing for Andrea's love grows.
