Product details
By integrating gender criteria into all decision-making processes, sustainable change processes in favor of gender equality and equal opportunities are simultaneously pursued. One tool to achieve this goal is gender mainstreaming. Currently discussed implementation concepts for gender mainstreaming, as well as the design of change processes against the backdrop of approaches from innovation research, are focal points of this work. Through expert interviews, the implementation of gender mainstreaming in health care institutions was reconstructed. The results present practical successful implementation processes as well as barriers and resistance to implementation. The book can thus serve as inspiration for other institutions looking to implement gender mainstreaming.
