The volume "Impulses for Work with Young Men" analyzes the practice and theory of work with young men from gender and social work theoretical perspectives, aiming to generate new impulses and ideas for working with young men, identify gaps, and highlight needs for change and further development. The goal of the volume "Impulses for Work with Young Men: Ideas and Practical Examples" is to analyze the raised topics theoretically in terms of gender and social work based on exemplary representations of central aspects of practical work with young men (concepts, settings, methods, gender perspectives). Using the reference points of 'gender' and 'professionalism', the current needs for change and further development, as well as gaps in the theory and practice of work with young men, as well as in training, further education, and professional development, are presented along with impulses and ideas.
