Alejandra Pizarnik, a young exceptional talent and enfant terrible of the literary scene in Buenos Aires during the 1950s and 60s, is today regarded as the most significant Jewish poet of the transcontinental Spanish language of classical modernity and is undoubtedly one of the most impressive lyrical voices in Latin America.
