The edition of the small anti-heretical work "Ancoratus" and the large work "Panarion Omnium Haeresium" by the late antique bishop Epiphanius of Salamis, edited by Karl Holl, is among the most significant editions in the Berlin Academy series "The Greek Christian Writers." After two volumes have already been published in corrected and supplemented reprints (Vol. 2: 1980; Vol. 3: 1985) and Volume 1 will soon be published in a corrected version, the comprehensive index can now also be printed. It contains detailed name, passage, word, and subject indexes, as well as an index of grammatical peculiarities.
