Product details

The author Klaus Herber suspects that there is more in the Thuringian Jonastal than just ordinary treasure chambers and underground production facilities of the Third Reich. He believes that a high-technology center was to be installed here in the last months of World War II, from which the final and decisive offensive of the German armed forces against the Allies was planned using the most advanced and previously unknown delivery and combat systems. Facilities for the development of nuclear weapons and delivery systems were located in close proximity. More than fifty years after the end of the war, the former allies still remain silent. What did the Americans and Russians find in 1945? Why are the war diaries of the victorious powers still classified? The book lets fictional eyewitnesses speak, summarizes the existing knowledge, and opens up space for the reader's own reflections.
