The 36 exercise templates in this workbook differ in their reading focuses, but all include integrated self-checking. The self-checking is done via a control strip on the right edge of the page, which is folded back before working on the tasks. After the children have solved all 12 tasks and entered the corresponding solution symbols or numbers into the boxes, the control strip is folded back to the front. Now the children can compare their own solutions with the correct answers (correct solution = check mark!). This method is very enjoyable for the children and promotes their independence and self-confidence.
