Internal performance accounting is an essential component of cost, performance, revenue, and results accounting, as various prices can be generated through the accounting figures. The authors present different approaches to accounting using the data from a model hospital, allowing practitioners to decide which method they consider suitable for both cost accounting and management-oriented applications.
