The competitive processing of any customer orders in logistics requires the movement of goods and products, the rapid assembly of subsets from sometimes vast assortments, and above all, nearly error-free, energy-efficient processes. For this purpose, internal logistics systems are essential, which must be precisely shaped from the extensive portfolio of manufacturer solutions into an integrated overall system. This manual provides both the technical fundamentals of the equipment and the process-related conditions for order picking. Various configurations are presented based on relevant systems, and their characteristics are highlighted.
