Wanja Wellbrock is creating a development process model for SCM innovations for the first time, deriving three innovative supply chain management concepts (Tier-n-Management, Value Added Assembly, Supplier Controlled Sequencing) either independently or in collaboration with industry practice, and demonstrating their applicability in practice. There is a high demand for innovative solutions in supply chain management both in logistics research and in corporate practice. The development process model is based on a cross-industry needs analysis and is developed from both theoretical and empirical approaches.
