The Mishnah is considered the "oral Torah." Around 200 CE, Rabbi Judah ha-Nasi compiled the rabbinic knowledge in writing to counter the risk of breaking the oral tradition chain under the Roman occupation of the Holy Land. The oldest material included dates back to the time of the Second Temple. Divided into six orders, the Mishnah, along with the Torah, forms the foundation of the religious laws of rabbinic Judaism, which were later developed in the two Talmuds and other religious legal works. This makes it one of the most important keys to understanding Judaism. The second order is 'Festivals - Seder Moed,' the third order is 'Women - Seder Nashim,' the fourth order is 'Damages - Seder Neziqin,' the first order is 'Seeds - Seder Zeraim,' and the fifth order is 'Holy Things - Seder Qodash.'.
