There are images that are nothing more than an event - images that trigger a plunge into the deepest memory for the viewer, the memory of the disturbing dream one had and is just losing; images that are akin to a revelation, placing us in a state of involvement that has to do with enlightenment, with love. Francisco Goya painted many such images. What material is an artist made of who can achieve such things?
