Product details
Marie Antoinette (1755-1793) became the most famous victim of the guillotine in European history. Stefan Zweig portrays her as "essentially an ordinary woman," who, although destined, was not necessarily suited to become the Queen of France. Her life, full of unrestrained pleasure and enjoyment, splendor, and luxury, ended in October 1793: With her head held high, she walked the final path to the Place de la Concorde.
