The learning situations of learning fields 5-8 expand the installation planning that began in Volume 1 at "Haus Waldesruh." The holistic and profession-specific problems for system mechanics in sanitary, heating, and air conditioning technology include, on one hand, the planning of water and wastewater installations, and on the other hand, in light of dwindling energy resources, the detailed planning of heat distribution systems. Customer demands for "wellness areas" serve as the basis for the learning situations related to the design of sanitary facilities.
