Product details
The Integrated Neurocognitive Therapy (INT) is a group therapy approach that integrates all areas of the MATRICS initiative of the NIMH (National Institute of Mental Health, USA) into a comprehensive therapeutic concept for the first time. This initiative defined 11 neuro- and socio-cognitive functional areas that are relevant for individuals with schizophrenia, and strengthening these areas must be one of the key therapeutic goals. The INT is based on the cognitive subprograms of the widely used and thoroughly evaluated Integrated Psychological Therapy (IPT) program. INT is a resource- and recovery-oriented approach that also aims to improve therapy motivation and self-perception. The focus is consistently on group dynamics and the patients' self- and everyday relevance.
