Integrative Movement Therapy (IBT) is a holistic therapeutic method developed over a tradition of more than 40 years in movement and psychotherapy. As a method of integrative therapy, it offers a wide range of procedures—from movement, body, and breath therapeutic interventions to verbal and nonverbal forms of communication—making it suitable for all age groups and psychological disorders. Based on theoretical foundations, this work focuses on the practical implementation of movement and body therapeutic methods. Renowned authors from the German-speaking world present the methodological approach and specific techniques of IBT, drawing on numerous specific disorders (e.g., anxiety disorders, trauma, addiction). Detailed case studies complement the presentation.
