Factory planning projects, where the production system and industrial construction need to be planned, are becoming increasingly complex, especially at the interface between disciplines. At the same time, a large portion of projects already exceed their goals in terms of time and costs. This paper therefore presents an approach to integrative factory planning based on efficient coordination models, which can significantly reduce planning duration and costs.
