The authors describe the results of the research project MESOP (Medicine - Social Work - Nursing) and the model seminars aimed at promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. The project investigated what knowledge, skills, and competencies these professional groups need to cooperate in the interest of patients. Based on the analysis of the existing situation in practice and study, new interdisciplinary teaching and learning methods were developed and tested.
