This work deals with the preparation of experiential knowledge in the intercultural knowledge transfer between Austria and China. It examines how cultural and societal characteristics impact the knowledge preparation in Chinese companies. In the context of international collaboration, intercultural knowledge exchange is becoming increasingly important. However, due to differing working methods, this presents several challenges, particularly in cooperation with the economic power of China. The aim of this work is to identify cultural and societal characteristics that influence the preparation of knowledge. Subsequently, measures for optimizing knowledge preparation are presented. The work builds on current findings from educational psychology, knowledge visualization techniques, and intercultural management in China. Based on this, a concept for designing intercultural work instructions has been developed. This concept optimizes the visualization of knowledge and enhances efficiency in global document-based knowledge transfer.
