With the introduction of Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP) in Austria, there is an increasing focus on the implementation of researched models and concepts aimed at optimizing practice. A clearly defined task of Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) is to develop a practice based on current, evidence-based research findings. These should also be integrated into health management and professional nursing. Advanced Nursing Practice aims to utilize research to improve nursing care. The field of education in nursing is also an important area of work, especially for Advanced Practice Nurses. Many women choose this profession later in life, but when they make this choice out of their own motivation, they are highly motivated to successfully complete their training.
