In the last twenty years, the field of Supported Communication has developed internationally into a recognized intervention measure for individuals without effective spoken language. This book offers the first comprehensive introduction to Supported Communication in the German-speaking world. It provides an overview of supportive communication systems and communication aids for non-speaking children, adolescents, and adults.
