Area A includes the subfields of apparatus gymnastics, gymnastics and dance, athletics, and swimming; Area B covers ball sports (soccer, handball, volleyball, basketball, etc.). Educational freedom is ensured in Area C. Area A is allocated 40 hours in the sixth grade, Area B 15 hours, and Area C 25 hours. The present lesson on the topic of juggling can clearly be assigned to the educational freedom in Area C, which is "not content-specific" and opens up special opportunities.
