The structure of this textbook meets the specific requirements for business administration education in the bachelor's program. In the first part, the most important models and methods of investment calculation are presented, starting from the fundamentals of financial mathematics, and are subjected to a procedural evaluation. Both static and dynamic investment calculations for the assessment of individual projects in absolute and relative profitability comparisons, as well as investment program decisions, are considered. A special chapter is dedicated to addressing uncertainty. In the second part, the possibilities for financing the operational value creation process are discussed using the main instruments of internal and external financing.
