The aim of the book is to provide students with an appropriate form of investment calculation for a specific decision-making situation and to enable them to develop this themselves. The book is divided into three parts: Part 1 outlines the fundamentals of investment calculation, Part 2 focuses on the most important methods of investment calculation. Part 3 challenges the assumption that investment decisions can be made under certainty. Content changes in this edition particularly affect the chapters on investment program decisions and choice decisions (excluding taxes), which have been shortened by outdated sections. Additionally, the literature and tax law sections have been updated to the latest standards.
