Product details

Dave Mustaine has been considered the enfant terrible of the metal scene, especially since his dramatic dismissal from Metallica. While he helped birth thrash metal alongside them, he elevated its concept with Megadeth to a higher level, consistently delivering new superlatives over the years. Throughout this journey, he has been accompanied by the trauma of his youth: chaotic family circumstances, questionable spiritual experiences, drugs, sexual escapades, and not least the rift with his former colleagues Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield, whom he constantly sought to outdo. From there, Mustaine has traveled a long way: the multi-platinum awarded musician is now part of the "Big Four" of thrash metal with his own band Megadeth and is more balanced than ever after rediscovering his faith in God. He shares his story in his autobiography.
