Bloody terrorist attacks, countless deaths, and fear as a constant companion are the consequences of international terrorism. This phenomenon is no longer limited to crisis areas like Iraq or Syria; it has long reached Europe. In Germany, there is also a feeling of insecurity and caution. Contributing to this are the German strongholds of the so-called Salafists, some of whom are suspected of acting as intermediaries for the terrorist militia IS. They are believed to have assisted numerous young people on their path to 'holy war.' The danger they pose must not be underestimated under any circumstances.

In times of terrorism, where thwarting attacks and regulating the influence of Salafists are of utmost urgency, other areas must not be overlooked. The Federal Republic of Germany must also ensure that its economy remains strong enough not to be affected by terrorism. This investigation shows the extent to which both the public and private sectors are impacted by the current circumstances and what dangers threaten Germany.
