Mid-August. All of Munich is suffering under an unbearable heatwave. Only the shady beer gardens can provide some relief. Former Munich commissioner Max Raintaler is asked for help by his friend Heinz Brummer, a successful pop songwriter. The rights to five of his songs have been stolen, and Max is supposed to get them back. It's a matter of millions. Max sets out to find the culprits. Suddenly, an alleged murder occurs... and then another one.
