Marta Galewska-Kustra is a Polish speech therapist who has developed a method for helping children learn to speak using onomatopoeic words, especially those who find it a bit more challenging. The sound "Wau! Wau!" becomes the wauwau, which permanently associates with the idea of a dog. Once the child has a concept for which there is a word, they can also substitute it and say "Hund" (dog). Page by page, children are guided through familiar life situations, accompanied by the corresponding sound words and a simple text that clarifies who or what is making "Wau! Wau!" or "Tick-Tack." Adults also receive some tips. An educational fun experience for both children and parents.
