A girl accompanies her father on a hunting trip for the first time. She watches in awe as she observes deer and stag, chamois, kestrel, and eagle, along with many other forest animals. She also learns why hunting is exciting for many people and why that is perfectly fine. The book is based on the very personal experiences of young Styrian graphic designer Julia Schneeberger. She herself does not hunt, but has been familiar with hunting since childhood through her brother and father. For her, hunting represents not just a piece of childhood, but above all: an opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of her homeland, learn more about our wildlife, and come to appreciate nature with all her senses.
