The law of obligations deals with the legal relationships between individuals. The legislator has divided the law of obligations into two parts: regulations that apply to all types of contracts can be found in the General Part of the law of obligations. Provisions that apply only to a specific type of contract are placed in the Special Part of the law of obligations. This script only addresses the General Part of the law of obligations, focusing on conveying the fundamentals. The aim of this work is to facilitate the entry into this complex subject matter. Therefore, I have specifically gone into detail only on topics relevant to exams. However, in all areas, I have placed particular emphasis on conveying the systematics of the law. From my many years of experience as a lecturer, I know that one can only write a good exam if one has understood the structure of the law.
