Every generation faces anew the question that Jesus posed to his disciples: Who do you say that I am? Every revival and reformation in the history of the Church can be traced back to the rediscovery of an aspect of Christ as a result of answering this crucial question. The danger has always been and remains that one turns the Gospel into all sorts of things that have nothing or not much to do with Jesus Christ. Often, people know a lot about him, making him a role model or wise teacher, yet they do not know him particularly well. The Jesus Manifest presents Jesus to us in a completely new light as the one who, according to the statements of the Bible, truly is. It is a call to give him back the priority and sovereignty that he deserves in all things and to open ourselves fully to him so that he can be the Christ in us, the hope of glory.
