This book precisely describes the forms of magic that have been used in Ukraine since ancient times. "Ukrainian Demonology" is a compilation of beings and spirits that originally stem from a cult of the dead and outlines the life forms of these entities and their interactions with humans. It discusses the lives of the dead who still exist in our material world, the various spirits, werewolves, and vampires, as well as the witches and wizards and the ordinary people who coexist with them. It describes the rules that make such coexistence possible, along with the corresponding protective and harmful spells. Upon closer examination, it reveals a very interesting worldview where magic is lived in everyday life, day in and day out. Magical phenomena can encounter them at any time and place in their daily lives. Even all the deceased are included in this, making it completely normal for the dead to resurrect and visit their relatives. However, even if they do not wish for this, they will learn here what they need to do to protect themselves against it.
