Is it not the dream of every Christian to learn as much as possible about Jesus' earthly ministry? The Holy Spirit was promised to humanity to 'teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things'. According to John 16:12-13, Jesus said to the disciples: 'I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you things to come.' Such a proclamation, as always, could only be the task of prophecy. Jakob Lorber was allowed to hear the voice of Jesus Christ in his heart. Through this, 'John, the Great Gospel' reveals to us the entire teaching, the whole history of salvation, and the miracle of the encounter between the Divine and the Human in all its depth against the backdrop of Jesus' life.
