The story of Joseph and his brothers is one of the most well-known and beloved narratives in the Old Testament. Many situations that are familiar to children are addressed in this story, such as jealousy and competition among siblings, as well as the proverbial ups and downs of life, encompassing both happy moments and times of crisis. Discussing this story in the classroom provides a good mental stimulus to reflect on one's own life journey, both the path already traveled and the future ahead, and to find the courage to trust God along this journey and, like Joseph, to be guided by Him.
