Abstract: The literary journal "Text und Kritik" published "Conversionen" by Helmut Krausser in July 2010, which he wrote about popular German poems. Among them is the poem "Mondnacht" by Joseph von Eichendorff, one of the poet's most famous works. Krausser states regarding his own adaptation that he has succeeded in rewriting an original considered inviolable with an interesting result. He further explains that, despite using new, more musical motifs, he has maintained the romantic style of expression.
