The area covered includes the Saar, Moselle, and Rhine rivers from Mainz, as well as almost all tributaries within this catchment area. This atlas provides all the information that both waterway travelers and cyclists need on the go: waterway kilometers, landing and navigation restrictions, rest and bivouac sites, mooring spots, slipways, entry and exit options, buoyage, bridge heights, addresses and facilities of clubs and campsites, as well as a map representation that does not stop at the dike, making it also suitable for land excursions.

For cyclists, detailed routes are included for the following rivers: Lippe, Ruhr, and Lahn, including alternative routes, poor road conditions, inclines, accommodations, bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, and attractions. The maps have been completely hand-drawn by Jübermann Verlag. Through aerial image analysis and on-site mapping (from the years 2014 and 2015) by bike and boat, the timeliness leaves little to be desired. Of course, there is also an update sheet for this atlas available as a PDF document for free download. The navigation software JONA is included again (program download, activation code in the atlas).
