On the garbage pile lies a doll. Right in the middle of old cans and jars, clothes and pants. The Lollo. Someone has thrown her away. But Lollo is far from being just junk. On the mountain of trash, she finds plenty of broken toys that are worth repairing. She collects everything and takes it to the forest. The Maxerl gets a new leg, the elephant a new trunk, and the giraffe a neck that allows her to lift her head again. Slowly, Lollo and Maxerl restore everything around them that is somehow damaged. Until, in the end, a swarm of mice nearly ruins their plans.
