This volume presents a tested, practice-oriented concept that supports adults with cognitive impairments and their families in developing viable future perspectives. It is estimated that in Germany, over half of the adults with cognitive impairments live together with their often elderly parents or siblings. In the tension between the family's desire for a long-term continuation of cohabitation and the often crisis-prone living situation caused by age-related changes, the question arises regarding the planning and shaping of the present and future.
