This book demonstrates and discusses how to grant participation rights to children aged 0 to 14 in childhood and social pedagogy and how to shape their participation democratically. Educational institutions for children are called upon to grant their recipients participation rights and to design participation democratically. The book is aimed at students and educators in childhood and social pedagogy programs and training and introduces the fundamentals of democratic participation in childcare facilities and other fields of child and youth welfare.
