Under the motto "A trauma is more than a trauma," various shades of working with traumatized individuals will be made visible from a biopsychosocial perspective. Different stages of life will be addressed, as well as transgenerational transmission processes and the diversity of various working concepts in psychotherapy, counseling, supervision, and trauma education. The shock over the serious effects of traumatic experiences often leads to a focus solely on damage and injuries. Historical and societal developments will also be discussed, along with diagnostic aspects, different life stages, and transgenerational processes.
