A significant proportion of adolescents develop severe behavioral problems, including aggressive and other antisocial disorders. This work presents an empirically tested manual for promoting social skills among adolescents in practice. Based on social cognitive learning theory and the model of social-cognitive information processing, modules are provided for social skills and developmental tasks that enable competence training. Extensive online materials with numerous templates are available for the implementation of the training program. The following topics are addressed in the training, among others: motivation, self-confidence, communication, body language, cooperation and teamwork, life planning, career and future, emotions, praise, and criticism.
