With the arrival of refugees in 2015, questions regarding the treatment of children and adolescents with a migration or refugee background in the school context have come to the forefront again, albeit under changed conditions. This makes it necessary to examine established concepts and structures of educational work with refugee children and adolescents for their effectiveness and appropriateness. The contributions in this anthology address this issue: the authors reflect on institutional integration practices, their challenges, and present proven practical approaches.
