The book addresses key themes and fundamentals of developing inclusive childcare facilities. Three main points become clear: First, inclusion affects the entire daycare center and cannot be implemented as an additional program. Second, participation is a key element of inclusive developments in daycare centers, and third, inclusion occurs under contradictory conditions in these settings. The volume outlines key themes and foundations for the development of inclusive childcare facilities. It documents theoretical foundations and frameworks, the research methodology and approach (primarily qualitative), as well as central findings (participation, cooperation, transition, reflection).
