The learning objective of well-being is the scientific foundation of an innovative educational program developed by the author in 2007, called "Subject of Happiness." The aim is to promote the mental health of children and adolescents and to empower them to take on self-determined responsibility. This work is the scientific continuation of this educational offering and is divided into three parts: Part A addresses the theoretical foundations of happiness and well-being, Part B presents a needs-competence-resources model developed by the author, and Part C describes the implementation.
