Literary Writing Projects in the Classroom: This volume presents the innovative concept of a continuing education program for German teachers focused on literary writing, which has been offered at the Literaturhaus Stuttgart since 2011. In genre-specific writing workshops, educators deepen and expand their own creative and evaluative skills and gain experience in literary follow-up communication. The competencies acquired in the cultural practice of literature lead to measurable changes in attitudes towards the learnability of literary writing and empower teachers to design and implement literary writing projects in their classrooms. The planning, execution, and support of the continuing education program are based on a collaboration between experts in cultural practice and representatives of subject didactics. This book is aimed at German teachers.
