Product details
The volume presents texts by Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy that have largely been forgotten: "The Copernican Turn of Grammar" (1944) can be considered a key text on how a rethinking in the philosophy of language can be achieved. "Liturgical Thinking" (1949) offers a critical yet non-devaluing perspective on the naturalization of humanity by the sciences, making it not only fundamental but also relevant today. The text "In the Mould of a Human Type or the Daily Origin of Language" (1964) can be seen as the sum of Rosenstock-Huessy's linguistic philosophy, perhaps even of his entire thought. Finally, the essay "Applied Soul Science" (1916/1923), which is presented here in a shortened form, can be referred to as a founding document of dialogical or grammatical thinking.
