Product details
Many poems from "Himmelsgedanken" were created during Karl May's journey to the Orient in 1899/1900 or were inspired by it. This is a new edition of volume 49, featuring the poems and sayings in their original wording and in the order of the collection "Himmelsgedanken" from 1900. It also includes Karl May's only play, the drama "Babel und Bibel," as well as "The Poet on His Work"; additionally, there are variations of the poems "The Soul of the Book" and "Christmas Eve." The edition comes with a foreword and explanations by Prof. Dr. Christoph F. Lorenz. The title is also available as an e-book.
